With an MBBS and an MS in Ophthalmology as his core medical qualifications, Dr. Saurabh Dev Puri is dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered eye care at the Jyoti Prakash Eye Care Centre in Batala, Punjab. Apart from general ophthalmology, he specialises in cataract, glaucoma and medical retina.

Post-MBBS, Dr. Saurabh Puri completed a clinical internship of one year at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, ending Feb 2006. He then spent a year as Junior Resident in Cardiology at Metro Heart Institute, New Delhi.

Apart from his Masters in Surgery (Ophthalmology), Dr. Saurabh Puri completed a Fellowship in Anterior Segment surgery and did around 5,000 surgeries including small incision cataract surgery (SICS) and phacoemulsification (sutureless cataract surgery), at Santram Charitable Hospital, Ahmedabad. He also did basic and advanced training in Contact Lens at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.

Dr. Saurabh Puri worked as a Consultant at Vasan Eye Care in Amritsar and Swami Anant Eye Hospital in Kurukshetra, before taking up his current post at Prakash Eye Care Centre in Batala.
