Dr. Rohit P Gupta did his initial medical under graduation (2003-2009) from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, and his post-graduation from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in (2010- 2012). He did his Senior Residency in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive surgery from 2013-2016 in PGIMER, Chandigarh.
After successful completion of three and half years of senior residency, he worked as a consultant in Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Eye Hospital, Pehowa, Kurukshetra from Feb 2017 to July 2018. He performed several thousands of all types of complicated cataract surgery in a charitable hospital. From July 2018, he started his practice as an independent eye consultant and established his own eye hospital in the year 2018 in Sunny Enclave, Mohali, Punjab. To date, he has been providing comprehensive eye care under one roof. His main area of interest is cataract and corneal transplant surgery. He is a much sought-after surgeon for No Stitch, No injection, No Bandage Micro incision cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses. He performs all types of corneal transplant surgeries i.e. penetrating and lamellar.
In addition, he is also skilled in treating various conditions cornea like keratoconus and all types of corneal disorders. He also treats retinal disorders including medical retina & laser treatment of retina, Glaucoma detection & management, routine and screening eye checkups for common eye diseases, especially in children, young adults, and people in their forties as well as senior citizens.
