Worked in the PGI for nearly two decades in various faculty positions, and was in charge of the Squint Clinic for nearly ten years before starting exclusively squint practice in a private setup.
Experience in examining more than 21000 squint patients and has performed several thousand squint surgeries with excellent results.
In addition to clinical work, very much interested in academic and research activities
Numerous research presentations and guest lectures in various regional and Strabismological Society of India conferences.
Research presentations in the International Strabismological Association conference at Sydney, Australia in 2002, and in the International Neuro-ophthalmology Society meeting at Geneva, Switzerland in 2004.
Guest speaker in Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association conference at Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2003.
Numerous research publications with many of these in reputed journals like Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and British Journal of Ophthalmology.

Who Is Afraid Of Squint
Normally, both of our eyes are aligned parallel in all directions of movement with the help of six muscles attached to the outside of each eye. To focus the eyes on the same spot, all the muscles in each eye must be balanced and working together in a coordinated manner.
