Dr. D. D. Verma, director of D. D. Eye Institute, established a charitable hospital and training institute D. D. Netra Seva Foundation, in the year 2012 with an aim of providing quality and affordable eye care to everyone and free services to the underprivileged and to train young ophthalmologists in eye surgeries under fellowship program.

D. D. Netra Seva Foundation is accredited by state government through district blindness control society. It is also empanelled under Bhamasa Health Scheme which provides free surgeries to the patients holding Bhamasa Cards issued by Rajasthan government.

This hospital is spread in more than1 lakh sq. feet area and is the largest eye hospital in the northern india. The hospital is a 200 bedded hospital dedicated to eye care. It is well equipped with the latest technology available today. The hospital has a large wing dedicated to provide free services to poor patients. They have 4 large OT, well equipped with modern instruments. Surgeries for cataract, glaucoma, dacryocystitis, pterygium, refractive surgeries, corneal transplants, retinal detachment and other retinal surgeries, and oculopastic surgeries are routinely performed at this institute.
